Server keeps resetting connection (7 posts)

    My client's FTP site won't let me download properly -- it keeps dropping my connection. (No issues with uploading.) Any ideas? The transcript is below. Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the additional information. Unfortunately, we're stumped - we don't know what could be causing this sort or problem.

    You should try another FTP client, such as Interarchy (which you can get from www.interarchy.com) and see if you can download from this server using it. If you can, please let us know; if not, it's most likely an issue with the client's server.

    Bad news guys. I think it's Fetch. :()

    I downloaded Interarchy and tried it. It didn't work until it Toggled over to Passive Mode, but then I was able to upload/download with no connection drops.

    Hopefully you can come up someting!

    Just to confirm, you did have the "Use passive mode" checkbox in Fetch checked, correct? (It looks like you did, based on the transcript, but just double-checking.)
