    I would really like to be able to "Edit new file with Photoshop." Running the SetSecretOptions script launches the script editor and clicking run within the editor results in execution error: doesn't understand the message.

    Am I missing a README or something somewhere that might explain how to change the default image editor?

    Unfortunately Photoshop does not support the external editor protocol that's needed for remote editing. At this point GraphicConverter is the only image editor that does, but hopefully that will change.
