The new target is the middle part of this year. We are getting closer, but the job has proven to be much larger than we expected. On the bright side, I think people will be pleased with the final result.
Thanks,

I hope you are aware of the many faithful Fetch-users out there, who are now waiting a very, very long time for the promised update.
I'm used to Fetch,I've scripted all my needs ariund it and I will surely wait for another year, but I don't really like to.
Please don't make me switch,I love my old dog :-) -

Almost forgot to ask--
Will the next release of Fetch be carbonized and will there be sftp support for MOS9?
Thanks!

Mid part of this year for SFTP eh?
Couldn't you make it now? As my site host has just foisted SSH2 on me without telling me in advance.
What can I use in the meantime before Fetch supports SSH2?

MacSFTP (available from http://www.macssh.com ) is an SFTP option.

xnetzero: The next version will not run on Mac OS 9. MacSFTP is an SFTP program that supports Mac OS 9.
Thanks,

I was just curious about a timeline on when SFTP would be built into fetch?
