I saw the message a few posts down about the site being slow. I then saw the reply that it should be normal now. I'm still having very long download times. Is there still an issue?

    Hi,

I just tried downloading a copy of Fetch and got a transfer rate of over 1 MB/sec. What sort of transfer rates are you seeing?

    Thanks,

    Hi Jim,

I just downloaded 5.7.3 yesterday, after using 4.0.3 for years without a hitch. Upgraded because the old version was loading a few files at the rate to which I am use to, then freezes. Same thing with the new version. Just tried again, first 4 file go without delay and now on the 5th file at 27.1kb/s. Files are jpgs, compressed to between 622kb and 395kb each. Currently not freezing and doing much better than yesterday but still very much slower than normal. 22 minutes remaining for 25mb.

    Thanks for your help.

I will reset my modem after the current batch goes through to see if that will solve the problem.

    Hi,

Do you see slow transfers if you connect to our test server, ftp.fetchsoftworks.com (leave the Username and Password fields blank)? I'm wondering whether the problem is your server or your ISP.

    Thanks,

The test site rate was between 124kb/sec and 164kb/sec. Any suggestions Jim? I am pretty much a non tech guy. I know the Images are loaded to our server, but have no idea what to do if there is an issue.
