I using Fetch 4.02 behind a Socks 5 firewall. I have configured everyhting and it also does connect to the ftp server and lists all the files. However,if i want to change the directory and click on a folder, it say "getting file list..." and stays like this forever. Is it a bug or am I making something wrong?
    thanks felix

There are some bugs in the SOCKS support in Fetch 4.0.2. I believe that they've been found and fixed in my current development versions. If you'd like to test an experimental version please send a note to support@fetchsoftworks.com. Please indicate whether you are running OS X.

    Thanks,

There are still problems with SOCKS5 support in Fetch 5.0.3, in particular, the ability to use an authenticated SOCKS5 server (authentication is part of the SOCKS5 protocol specification).

With Fetch 5.0.3, I am still unable to connect through our (authenticated) SOCKS5 proxy. Indeed, the username/password fields are disabled by Fetch 5.0.3 when the SOCKS5 proxy option is selected.

Yes, SOCKS5 authentication is still on our list of things to fix. Thanks for the feedback.

With Fetch 5.0.5, the SOCKS5 authentication options are still disabled.

Sorry, we were unable to get to it for the 5.0.5 release. It is still on our list.

    Thanks,

SOCKS5 support seems to still be off in 5.1b1.
