Hi, I have uploaded an event with a main folder that has 5 sub folders and the third party that is recieving my ftp images doesn't except the way I had mistakenly named one of the sub folders and I need to know if there is a way to change it to the proper naming convention. Does anybody know if this possible. Time is of the essense. I can just reload the file but it would require about at least 3hrs of upload time...

    Thankyou for your time,

    wedphoto.

    Hi,

Yes, you can rename any folder or subfolders in Fetch. Just double-click on the main folder's icon in Fetch to show the subfolders, select the subfolder you want to rename, and then press the Return key. An edit box should appear around the name, and you can type in the new name for the folder.

For more information about renaming, see the Renaming files and folders topic in Fetch Help (or just click the link here).

Please let us know if this does not do what you want.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your quick reply. I tried what you suggested and when I highlighted the sub folder & hit the return/enter button it proseded to open the file to show my the contents of the file & no edit box. I am using 4.0.3

    Thank you

    Hi Scott,

I just made the change from the REMOTE Pull down menu. Everything should be fine @ this point. I'll let you know if I am having any further problems.

Thanks again for your time & Help.

    Hi,

Sorry, yes, the instructions I gave were for Fetch 5.

As you discovered, to rename files or folders in Fetch 4, you should select the folder and choose Rename Directory or File from the Remote menu, and then enter the new name.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
