I often work at home via ASDL. However, as my data are stored at my university behind a firewall I have to access them via an ftp proxy. This requires me to change the preferences in Fetch from those I use when at university and vice versa when I go to work. Is there a way of persuading Fetch to know which location I am at and set the prefs accordingly? I could use a script to switch between prefs file, but this would require me to manuallly run the script. I note that Fetch still has an 'Internet Config' under OSX that doesn't (yet) pick up location switching - or am I missing something?

Right now I'm afraid that a script is the best you can do. Apple has not revised the Location Manager for OS X, so there's no easy way for applications to switch configurations when your location changes.
