  Hi

  I just starting using Fetch about a month ago. I've been trying to send this one file (a page with picture files and text) over to another ftp site and on the receiving end, they keep getting a black box in place of where the type is suppose to be. I was reading the topics from some time back and was wondering if this is an example of text smoothing.

  It sounds more likely that the other side does not have a font you used. What program did you use to prepare the file?

  The file was laid out in Quark with photoshop eps files. But I used flightcheck to collect all the supporting files and fonts, before stuffing it as a binhex. I've got no clue as to why that happened, perhaps it was just the preview on their side? Got any ideas?

  If the other side was able to unstuff the file then the transfer went fine, and the problem has to do with differences between the the Quark installations. I would contact Quark about the problem.
