Hi there - i'm completely new here. I work on a pc during the day and mac in the evenings at home.

Today at work (on pc) I had to send a .tif file on our company ftp site. Little did I know that mac people cannot access it! I spoke to my colleague in IT and he told me about Fetch. So I told my client to download Fetch as she works on a mac (she didn't, she got a pc person to get the file). Anyway, I've just got home and I've downloaded Fetch as a 15 day trial. How easy is it! I've just downloaded x2 files form my company ftp site and it's GREAT - thank you so much indeed. How much is it? It it a one off fee or yearly? Please advise and thank you Fetch!

    Hi,

    We're glad you like Fetch!

A single-user Fetch 5 license is $25, and that is a one-time fee - you can continue using that version of Fetch, and any free upgrades we release for it, for as long as you like.

At some point in the future we may release a new version with new features that requires an upgrade fee, but our next release, Fetch 5.1, will be a free upgrade for Fetch 5 users.

Please let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks,

Thanks so much. I'm keeping this little doggy!

OK, in 15 days it expires. Does that mean that I'll get an email telling me this, or if I try and go to a ftp site (say after 15 days later) and it says I'm not a member and I have to upgrade that way? I think I'll do it at the end of the month when I have some money.

Can it open ALL ftp sites? Mac and PC? I'll never have a problem again!

Thanks Scott - and Fetch. Also, how can I download the widget? What features does it have. SORRY for the 1001 questions!

From a very happy bunny who works in advertising and so needs a device like this a at random notice!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the enthusiastic response!

In 15 days, when you start Fetch, it will tell you that your trial period has expired. Up until that point, every time you start Fetch, you'll get a reminder of how many days are left in your trial period. We don't know your email address, so we can't send you a reminder email. :)

Yes, Fetch should be able to connect to and transfer files with all FTP sites. If you run into one that it won't work with, let us know and we'll investigate and try to fix the problem!

The Fetch widget lets you quickly start uploads of files to your favorite FTP server. You configure the widget with an FTP site, and then you drag and drop files on to the widget to start an upload to that site. The widget will automatically start Fetch, make the connection and upload the files, and report on the progress of the transfer.

You can get the widget by downloading Fetch 5.1b2. This is a public beta test version of Fetch, which means we are still making changes and improvements to Fetch - while we've worked hard to make sure it's problem free, there is a chance you could run across a bug in it (and if you do, please let us know). You can download it from http://getfetch.com/Fetch_5.1b2.dmg if you want to give it a try.

    Thanks,
