Trouble connecting or displaying list (2 posts)

    I'm using an iBook and OS X with Fetch 4.0.1. When I try to connect to my site, the software connects, gets the directory, gets the file list (according to the messages in upper right of window) but never displays the list. The "cursor" keeps running until eventually the connection times out--that could be quite a while. I've tried connecting with NetFinder with no problem, so I'm wondering if anybody has any clues about parameters I might have set that are not allowing the display of the list. Thanks!

    Scratch this message. After reading the previous message more closely, I found the solution. This info should be more prominently displayed in the installation instructions/help. I'm not using a firewall, so it never occurred to me to set anything in the firewall tab of Preferences.
