    Hi,

whenever there is an error in one of my php-files and I used fetch for uploading those files, I get the usual parse error message from the server but it always shows me a completely wrong line number! When I use BBEdit to transfer my php-files I get the error message with the correct line number and can figure out where the error is.

I already unchecked the "translate ISO characters" options, tried several transfer/format mode combinations and saved files with different line break formats in BBEdit but nothing seems to help.

Does nobody ever had such a problem?

I would recommend either uploading in Text format, or uploading in Automatic format with a suffix mapping that identifies .php files are text files. That will ensure that your files get the correct line endings on the server no matter what line endings they have on your Mac.

Let me know if that doesn't solve the problem.

    Thanks,
