    hello -
I want to use fetch to allow others ftp access to my computer.
However, the only possibility to log in is using the administrator User ID ass (mine) - which allows people logged in to see everything on the computer - How can I restrict access so people can only see what is in my public folder?
    thanks, Robert

It sounds like you need an FTP server (as opposed to an FTP client, which is what Fetch is). Some options are NetPresenz (www.netpresenz.com), Rumpus (www.maxum.com) and CrushFTP. Those programs should include instructions for restricting access to certain folders.
