    I am a first time user of FTP and need help.
    I have a linux webhosting package which is recognising lower and upper case on a directory I have created. I, in error deleted a subdirectory with the same word but all lower case, I have been trying to PUT the data through and replicate (covering all possible alternatives) and now I am unable to post. Help help help!

    Hi,

    If I understand you correctly, the problem is that you cannot upload some files or folders, is that correct?

    If so, we'd like some more information to help diagnose the problem.

    Could you please do the following?

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Try uploading the problem files to the problem directory.
    * Go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
    * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    Thanks,
