What is the proceedure for updating? I would like to retain my preferences and shortcuts from 4.01. There isn't any readme that I can see for this. I am on os10.14. I have downloaded the update and am ready to go!

    Thanks

You should be able to drag the Fetch 4.0.2 Folder into your Applications folder, and run Fetch 4.0.2 -- it will use your existing shortcuts and preferences.

Can I then safely drag the 4.01 folder to the trash WITHOUT loosing my preferences and shortcuts. I don't actually see any additional files for shortcuts and preferences. Are they stored in the program file?

Well I dragged the 4.02 folder into the app folder on os10.14 and inside the Fetch 4.02 folder is a 1.5 meg document instead of the app. When I double click on it a dialog comes up that says there is no app available to open yada yada.

    What should I do now.

P.S. is the problem that I used a PC zip disc to move the folder from another mac running OS9?

Yes, you should instead transfer the Fetch_4.0.2.sit file on the Zip disk and unstuff it at the destination.

You should delete the Fetch 4.0.2 Folder with the 1.5MB document.

    Thanks,
