My boss has asked that I figure out how to update our website. I have downloaded the Fetch software, read the help topics and am still a bit lost. I was able to "get" the portion of the website to update (we moved, so all I need to do is change the address) by dragging the contact.html to my desktop. How do I do the necessary editing? When I open the "new" document, it is opened in Internet Explorer. Am I missing something? Where are the editing tools here? Help!!

Fetch is good at moving files between your Mac and the server but it is not an HTML editor. For simple editing you can use a text editor, such as SimpleText or BBEdit Lite (available at http://www.barebones.com ). For more involved tasks you would want to look into a dedicated HTML editor, like Adobe GoLive.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your quick response and suggestions. I did open the bit called contact.html with simpletext and made the changes I desired. It is still called Contact.html, but the look of the icon has changed. What do I do next to get this on our web page, replacing the outdated address?

    Kind regards,

Thanks for your quick response. I was able to make the very few changes using SimpleText. However, the "document" is now just a simple text doc. How do I get this back to our website correctly?

    Kind regards,
