I downloaded Fetch 4.0.1 to use on my Mac OS 8.5 to upload web page changes from my Netscape Composer. (Netscape Composer has developed another glitch and I've had it...!) Anyway, I am following all the tutorial directions, but the page is not uploading. I am getting no error messages either. TIA.

How do you know that the page is not uploading? Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after the upload? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to see the transcript.

    Thanks,

I know the page is not uploading because the changes to the page are not made...

The transcript does not show any file uploading -- did you try to upload any files in that session?

Also, it looks like you want to upload your pages to the "public_html" directory on the server. To do that, first double-click on the "public_html" icon to enter that directory, and then choose "Put files and directories..." from the Remote menu to upload the files.

    Thanks,

Okay, public_html first, then the name of the page---that makes sense since public_html is the directory on the server and the other is the name of the web page. And it worked, but only the text made it, not the pictures. Any suggestions??

It would help me to know a bit more, specifically:

    1) What is the URL of your website?
    2) Are you image files in the same folder as your HTML file on your Mac?
    3) Did you upload the images when you uploaded the HTML file?

    Thanks,

    1) What is the URL of your website?
    http://home.fnbnet.net/~harmony/boergoats.html
    2) Are you image files in the same folder as your HTML file on your Mac?
I think so, but I'm not sure actually. I am using Composer which I normally use to upload my web pages, text and images. It has developed a glitch and that is why I am trying Fetch.
    3) Did you upload the images when you uploaded the HTML file?
No. I uploaded the web page and thought that the text and pictures would go together, but just the text made it.
