I would like to upload a in construction page to main URL and not a folder. Normally my photoprojects are posted under e.g. www.photostudio.com/project_1; I would like to post the under construction site to www.photostudio.com.

What do I have to do?

    Hi,

Normally to do that, you would just connect to your server and upload your files directly to your home folder, instead of uploading them into a folder in your home folder.

So, if you normally upload a folder when you upload files to Fetch, instead, open up the folder and upload the files inside it.

On most servers, you need to make sure your main page or "home page" is named index.html (or sometimes index.htm); that is the file web servers look to load when you go to your website's main URL. If you do not have a file named that, your website probably will not appear when you to to your website's address.

These are just general guidelines that apply to most servers; however, you should double-check with your web hosting company - the people who run the server where your website files are stored - for more specific advice about where files should go and what they should be named.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
