  I am replacing my website with a new one. I deleted the folder containing all the files, but now it will not upload, saying the "directory already exisites"

  Hi,

  After you try to upload and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them here? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

  Hi,

  After you connect, you should see a folder named public_html in the list of folders on the server; usually when a server has that folder, it expects you to put your website files in that folder.

  So try double-clicking on the public_html folder, then uploading files into that folder, and see if that works (and if your website displays correctly after you do). If that does not fix the problem, let us know and we'll investigate further.
