I never know for sure where to put my pages, and often wind up with the one page all over the place. I don't know where they go so I keep trying other places. It's a mess and I can't load new pages at all now. Fetch won't let me delete them either! What to do?

PS I have used the refresh button, so that's not it.

    Hi Jean,

It sounds like you should contact your hosting company - the company or people who run the server you're uploading your webpages too.

They can explain where you should put your pages; it's different for every server, so we can't definitively answer that question. They can tell you what folder the files need to go in.

They can also help you with deleting files. When you ask Fetch to delete a file, Fetch then tells the server to delete a file. If you get an error, it's because the server told Fetch it couldn't the file; Fetch is just passing the error from the server along. So when a server won't let you delete a file, the people who run the server are the ones you'll need to talk to to find out why it can't be deleted, and to get it removed.

Sorry not to have specific solutions for you, but your hosting company should be able to help you out.

Please let us know if you have further questions after talking to them.

    Thanks,

I have been successfully using Fetch for years. Yesterday, I was uploading pages to my site, but the uploaded pages did not appear on my site. Fetch says that the pages have been uploaded.

I downloaded the latest version of Fetch and tried again, and also cleared my cache and tried again, but with no results; still old pages on the site, not the newly uploaded ones. What else can I do?
