Uploading from iPhoto with titles (2 posts)

  When I upload into Fetch from iPhoto I lose all of the titles/keywords associated with my individual photos. I tried exporting from iPhoto as I would if I was placing photos on a thumb drive and that doesn't work either. I have upwards of 50,000 photos labeled and need them moved to Fetch without having to relabel. HELP!

  Hi,

  iPhoto gives you a couple ways to preserve the titles of your photos when you export. You can check the "Include Title and Keywords" box, which will put that information in the file's EXIF information. You can also set the File name: menu to "Use title", which will give the photo files with the titles as file names.

  If you use either or both of these options and then upload the files with Fetch, the title information should be preserved. Could you try a test with a few photos and let me know how it goes?
