When I try to upload photos to my WordPress site, I get an error message. Someone wrote the following to me:

"I believe with Fetch, that if your right click on wp-content/uploads directory, you will have an option about 'Permissions' or 'CHMOD'. If so, change the permission to 755. i.e. read, write."

    This doesn't seem to work

    Hi,

In Fetch 5, you use the Get Info command to set permissions.

Select the folder, then click the Get Info button. In the info window, click on the disclosure triangle to the left of the "Ownership and Permissions" label to display the permissions pane if it's not being displayed already. Then you can type "755" into the UNIX equivalent field, and click the Apply button to set the permissions.

You can also display the info window by choosing Get Info from the Remote menu, or by right-clicking on the folder (if you have a mouse that supports that) and choosing Get Info from the contextual menu.

Let us know if this doesn't help. Thanks,
