  im having some problems with fetch 5.3
  i get access to my xbox but cannot transfer anything. it says that it got an unexpected problem. "pasv is not implemented".
  and i think that it gives me different "reasons" every time i try to transfer stuff.

  what is this? cause i was able to transfer stuff like a couple of weeks ago.

  Please help me, i wanna watch Matrix Revolutions tonight! :)

  come on. please help me. i've been trying to fix this all night and all day but now i don't even know what im doin. your helping everyone else, why not me?

  Hi,

  We do not have any experience with FTPing to Xboxes so I do not have specific advice to offer you.

  However, here are some suggestions:

  * If you are getting a "PASV not implemented" error, I would try opening the Fetch Preferences, unchecking the "Use passive mode (PASV) transfers" checkbox, and then try connecting to the Xbox again.

  * Try restarting/rebooting the Xbox to see if that fixes the problem.

  * Finally, I would double-check the setup of your Xbox, to make sure that some setting required for FTPing to it has not changed.

  If none of these help, if you send us a transcript, we'll take a look and see if we have any further suggestions. To do this:

  * Quit Fetch.
  * Open Fetch again.
  * Try to connect to the Xbox.
  * Go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
  * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

  Hi,

  Are you connecting to the XBox through your home network, using a router or wireless base station? (That is, instead of your Mac being plugged directly into the XBox.)

  If so, I would suggest unplugging and plugging back in the router/wireless base station and seeing if that helps.

  Some of the stuff in your transcript is what we see when a router is misbehaving slightly, and often power cycling the router solves the problem.

  but im not using any router. i connect my computer to my xbox and did not have this problem before. No other tips? thanks

  Hi,

  Other things to try:

  * Use a shorter file name that does not have spaces or hyphens in it. The server on the XBox may not like files whose names include anything besides letters, numbers, periods, and underscores, or are over a certain length.

  * Make sure that you have enough space on the XBox to store this file. Most FTP server do not give good out-of-space errors.
