User receiving "Can't get handle" error message when trying to SFTP using Fetch from Mac. Any ideas on what this means? (not a Mac user or admin)

    Hi,

That's not an error message we've had reports of before, sorry, so we'll need more information to figure out what's going on.

We'd like to know in more detail what the user is doing when they get this error - are they trying to connect to the server? upload a file? download a file?, and if possible, the Fetch transcript - a log of Fetch's communication with the server - once they get the error.

To get the Fetch transcript, after they get the error, they should choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, then paste it into an email message to send to you (and then you could post it here), or they could send it to:

    support at fetchsoftworks dot com

along with a short description of the problem.

    Thanks,
