User uploads files, I can't see them... I upload files, user can see them. (4 posts)

    I recently bought a Mac Pro Dual-Core Intel Xeon. I downloaded and installed the trial version of Fetch 5.2.1. A client of mine had uploaded some files to my FTP server. Upon logging into my server, I saw the usual list of directories, however there was NOTHING in any of them. I asked the client about this to make sure he had indeed uploaded the files. He logged back into my server and varified that they were there on his end. I refreshed several times to no avail. I think tried uploading a test file to see if he could see it. He could not but I could. I had him refresh and he still didn't see.

    Now, if I log into my FTP server using my non Intel PowerBook G4 using an older version of Fetch (4.0.2), all of the directories are there and all of the files are in the directories.

    What's up with this??

    The user actually CAN'T see the files that I upload either.

    In the Mac Pro transcript you are logging in as sbdguest; in the PowerBook transcript you are logging in as sbdguest1. So you are looking at two different accounts on the server.
