iMac500, Mac OS 10.4.8: I know I can compress text using stuffit/gzip. Do I make it self-extract for Windows to enable a reader-majority and then drag it to Fetch to upload?

    Hi,

While Fetch can compress files using Zip, gzip, or StuffIt when you upload files, it cannot create self-extracting archives of those kinds (it can only regular compressed archives).

You'd need to use another utility to create a self-extracting archive, and then upload the self-extracting archive with Fetch.

What are you trying to accomplish? We may have some other advice.

    Thanks,
