When I buy Fetch software, can I use it on multiple Mac computers? (8 posts)

    I currently have Fetch 5.2 on my desktop computer, but I'm having problems getting Fetch
    to accept my Serial Number Name and Serial Number for my MacBook Pro.

    The dialog box reads...... "THIS SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT VALID FOR THIS VERSION OF FETCH."

    Hi George,

    Yes, our license permits you to install Fetch on two computers, such as a desktop and a laptop, as long as you are the only user of Fetch on both of them.

    I checked our records and your serial number is valid for versions of Fetch up to Fetch version 5.3.1. Perhaps you're making a typo when entering the serial number?

    Anyway, I have emailed your serial number to you - please give the serial number in the email a try, and let us know if you are still having problems.

    I also included links for upgrading to and information about our latest version, Fetch 5.6.

    Hi Scott,

    I originally had Fetch on my Mac G4 desktop computer and a Mac laptop, but the laptop crashed and died,
    so I want to put Fetch on my new MacBook Pro laptop. I can do that, can't I?

    Hi George,

    Yes, you can put Fetch on your new laptop.

    However, Fetch 5.2 is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.6, which came with your new MacBook Pro.

    You need to either upgrade to Fetch 5.6 - which is a $10 paid upgrade, includes changes to take advantage of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard together with many other new features - or you can download the older Fetch 5.3.1 at no charge, which will work with Mac OS X 10.6, but has no specific improvements for 10.6 in it.

    Hi,

    I purchased a license for Fetch last year and installed it on my IMAC, which is in my far away office and I need to install it on my laptop now but cant find the serial number. Are you able to help me please?

    My license could also be under agathebernard@hotmail.com

    If Fetch can't find a license for your current email address you should receive a message back with a link to

    http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/serial-fallback

    Fill out that form and I will try to find your license manually.
