Having all kinds of problems with Mac users trying to connect to my Linux FTP site.

Here is a sample log from a client

    MACB ENABLE
    500 Unknown command.
    PWD
    257 "/home/ftpusers/ftpguest"
    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,0,242,137,70)
    LIST
    425 Failed to establish connection.

How is your FTP site connected to the Internet? It is advertising a private (192.168.*.*) address, which isn't valid on the Internet at large. You could ask the client to try using non-passive mode (in Fetch they'd uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Preferences).

    Thanks,
