I sometimes go to an ftp directory which contains many thousands of files. If I use a dopey command line ftp, I might say "ls *p1*" or some other wildcarding. This reduces the number of files to a manageable number and all is well.

When I use Fetch to point to the same directory, I am forced to wait a very very long time while the thousands of files in the full listing come across.

In the "open connection" window, fetch offers to take me to an "initial folder" which is cool. It could maybe also let me wildcard the target folder so I could see and get only the subset of files I want.

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll consider it when developing future versions of Fetch.
