  Can't open my new version of fetch on my new iMac..get a -47 error message

  Hi,

  The first thing I would try is restarting your Mac. Does that help?

  Same error message and restarting didn't solve the problem. Downloaded 5.8.1 and when I double-clicked on the download the application opened but only in Read mode and it did not update the existing Fetch app in Finder.

  Hi,

  I would not expect opening Fetch 5.8.1 to update an older copy of Fetch. I would drag the older copy to the Trash, and drag Fetch 5.8.1 to the Applications folder.
