    I also have 10.1.3 and

I can no longer upload files from MAC to server by dragging files to fetch window.

I "can" download - drag files from server (fetch window) to the MAC.

Please help. I need to update a website VERY VERY SOON

I am working on addressing this problem in the next release of Fetch. In the meantime you can use the "Put folders and files..." command in the Remote menu.

    Thanks,

Is this an Apple Problem or a Fetch Problem? Fist could no longer use BBEDIT to edit files on remote server. Now cannot put files by dragging. I realize this is only a $49 program, but utility of the program is moving backward. What can we expect for timing of next release? I know you cannot predict exactly, but are we talking about hours, days, weeks ... ???

    Thanks,

"Put folders and files..." is a command in the Remote menu (i.e. in the menu bar). It lets you upload multiple files and/or folders at once.

Fetch is actually a $25 product. On Mac OS X it uses a new user interface item called a data browser, in order to present a faithful Aqua user interface. Between Mac OS X 10.1.2 and 10.1.3 Apple changed the behavior of data browsers where drag and drop is concerned. I will adjust Fetch's behavior to work correctly in Fetch 4.0.2. I expect 4.0.2 to be available for testing within a month.

    Thanks,

You can still drag and drop. Only you need to drop over the status area of Fetch. Not the actual file window.

Dunno if this will assist? I only lost drag abd drop after the Java update. The thing about the 'put folders' - was that I wasn't sure where the files were going to end up (ie I trust D&D far more!). Thanks for the upcoming tweak - have to say Fetch is THE best FTP app I have seen in over 5 years of using them on PC and Maac (and as nuts as it sounds - it was one of the reasons I got a mac!)
