Hi,
Sorry you're having troubles. Try doing the following:
* Choose "Home" from the Go menu in the Finder
* Open the Library folder
* Open the Preferences folder
* Find the com.fetchsoftworks.Fetch.plist, Fetch Prefs and Fetch Cache files, and move them to the Desktop. (You may not have all three files. That's okay.)Then try to run Fetch. Does that fix the problem? If so, please email the three files you moved to the Desktop to us at:
bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com
so that we can figure out why they make Fetch crash.
If that does not fix the problem, let us know and we'll investigate further.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hi,
Also, after you reinstalled the operating system, did you run Apple's Software Update to make sure you had the latest Mac OS X updates?
Thanks,

Thanks for the quick reply, Scott. I removed those files (did no have Fetch Prefs, but we may have removed before in an attempt to fix) and this did not help.
Yes, after reinstalling the operating system we did all the updates, then installed Fetch. So not sure if it is something in one of the latest updates that conflicts?
I appreciate your help.

Hi,
No, as far as we know there isn't a conflict with any of the latest updates.
We'd like to take a look at the Fetch.crash.log, so we can try to figure out what the problem is. Could you please e-mail it to us?
To find the Fetch.crash.log file:
* Choose "Home" from the Go menu in the Finder
* Open the Library folder
* Open the Logs folder
* Open the CrashReporter folderPlease send it to:
bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com
along with a short description of your problem and we'll take a look.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

There isn't a crash log for Fetch in there, or anywhere on the computer ??

Hi,
Hmm. Okay, could you please send us your system log? That may contain information about the problem.
To find the system.log file:
* Choose "Go to Folder..." from the Go menu in the Finder.
* Enter "/var/log" (without the quotes).Then, please email the system.log file you'll find in that folder to bugs at fetchsoftworks.com .
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Had 5.1 working fine on Intel Mac Mini, had to reinstall operating system, now I can't get 5.1 or updated 5.2 to start. They quit on start up. Program icon jump on the dock, and screen flashes for second and shuts down. Removed, installed, removed installed updated version, removed plist, ran Disk Utility Permissions Repai, ran Disk Warrior, nothing helped. Any patches available?
