As soon as I updated to Fetch 5.5.2, I now get this error message in the Super Duper backup log when I back up my main hard drive:

    | 04:05:52 AM | Error | ditto: /Applications/Fetch 5.5.2/Fetch.app/Contents/Resources/./mirrordirection_right_dark.icns: Result too large

If it still matters, while trying to remedy the problem, I noticed and downloaded Fetch 5.5.3. It's now installed.

    Hi Michael,

Are you still experiencing this problem with Fetch 5.5.3 now that you've installed it?

    Thanks,

I may just do a manual back up instead of waiting until the automatic backup that comes on Wednesday. Let's hold the topic open for a day or so if that's OK.

    Hi Michael,

Sure, we can do that, or you can just let us know what happens with your regular backup on Wednesday.

Some of here at Fetch use SuperDuper for doing backups and as far as I know we don't receive this error when backing up disks that have copies of Fetch, but if you're still getting it we'll investigate further.

    Thanks,

I tossed the older Fetch version along with its problem file and my last two backups with the latest version went without error. Thanks.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the update, it's good to hear the problem has gone away by installing a fresh copy of Fetch.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
