    Hi Jim. Felt I could help sum1 out there in over cming the same prob I had. I could upload html files using fetch, BUT NOT graphic files leaving me with red-X's. Fetch wld slow down during transfer then time out of server. My links were all good, naming convention perfect.
    Prob lay in my PPP configuration. I hadn't flagged within PPP/Options/Protocol/ •ALLOW ERROR CORRECTION..... and •USE TCP COMPRESSION. I hope this helps others. Thnk you Jim.

    Thanks for the suggestions -- I have seen other cases where PPP settings caused uploading problems.
