I've been using Fetch for a couple of years and everything has been fine, except for uploading today. The message that comes up is -

contact the server administrator to verify that the server is running. Server responded: Accepted data connection.

I'm not so great with all this. So who do I contact? GoDaddy? You? Appreciate the help.

    Hi,

If a server that you have been connecting to successfully for years suddenly stops working, and you have made no changes, the problem is almost always either with the server.

Note, however, if you have upgraded software on your Mac, or gotten a new cable modem or router, it is possible they could be causing the problem. But the most likely cause is there is a problem with the server.

So you should contact the people who run the server to see if they are aware of any problems and verify the hostname, username, and password you are using to make sure that there hasn't been a change in the connection information. If GoDaddy runs the server, then yes, they are who you should contact.

If, after talking with them, you are still having problems, let us know and we can see if there is any other advice we can offer.

    Thanks,

OK Scott, I will try calling GoDaddy. I haven't changed anything on my end and I uploaded the site a couple of weeks ago and it was fine. And no new router or cable modem. Thank you for directing me in the right direction. Shannon
