Hi guys, we have been using fetch for a couple of years now - all was well. But this week I double clicked on one of our shortcuts (which we have been using for ages) - fetch connects succesfully and we can grab files and download them no problems, but EVERY time we try to upload a file it says: SERVER RESPONSE: ACCESS DENIED. - Any ideas? I have little hair left now and I don't want to be bald before I am 36! - I have tried all the usual checks - firewalls, passive mode checked etc ? HELP!

    Hi,

A transcript from your attempt to upload will help us diagnose the problem.

Could you please connect, try an upload, and then after you get the error message, choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them here?

We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks for the transcript. Here are a few things to try:

    * Try uploading a file without spaces in the name (either find one, or rename one for test purposes). Can you upload that file successfully?

    * If you're not using Fetch 5, download Fetch 5 (you can test it for free for 15 days) and try uploading a file with it.

    * Make sure you're not out of space in your account on the server. While Fetch can tell you how much space you've used, there's no way to find out what your maximum limit is in Fetch unless the server sends that information, and it didn't. So if you don't know how to find out that information, one way to test this is to remove a large file (hopefully one you don't need anymore), and try uploading again.

Let us know if any of these help. If none of them work, it's probably a server problem - you should contact your hosting provider.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
