Fetch can download to your Firewire drive, or upload files from your Firewire drive. To download to the Firewire drive go to the Download section of Fetch Preferences and set the download folder, or uncheck the "Use download folder" box and then you'll be asked each time you download something where you want it saved (and you can choose a folder on the Firewire drive).
Thanks,

Is it possible via Fetch to access a connected firewire drive to my Mac?
Or, is the only possible connection to my home folder?
Thanks.
