I use a couple php open-source scripts to backup my sites and dbs, but they are too large for the scripts to email them to me, so I use their FTP feature to store them on different ISPs. Yes, I could, then mirror those directories with Fetch, but what I'm after, in that area of use, is a behind-the-scenes feature.

An option to quit Fetch and/or shutdown or sleep after download/upload is complete would be nice. I have QuicKeys, and it works, but using QK just adds more that can fail.

Just some thoughts on what I like.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll think about how we could incorporate a feature like that. In the meantime, as you note, QuicKeys or AppleScript can issue the quit or shutdown command after the download finishes.

    Thanks,
