This is the error: Fetch could not get the file list because there was a timeout trying to establish a passive mode data connection. A server firewall might be blocking passive mode (PASV) transfers. Please ask the server administrator for help.

I upgraded to 5.8.3, toggled the passive mode button on Fetch, upgraded to Ventura OS on iMac (after talking toApple Support) and finally downloaded FileZilla which works just fine.

But I am used to and prefer Fetch.

Can anyone help me please?

Jim Matthews recommended I use FTP with TLS/SSL as my Connect method and it worked. I am back using Fetch. Thank you!!!
