Applescript upload without transfer window (2 posts)

  Our users are using an Applescript we wrote to upload files to our ftp server. This works great but we don't want them to have the ability to then upload directly or worse, delete files. Is there a way I can just show a progress window or make the FTP window Read-only?

  You could have your AppleScript move the transfer window offscreen, and then close it when the transfer is done. To work out the syntax for those things press the Record button in AppleScript, and then perform the steps manually.
