That must be a copy of Fetch 4.0. You want the latest release, 4.0.3.
If you purchased a license from Fetch Softworks (which started selling Fetch in 2001) you can use that serial number. Otherwise you'll need to purchase a license.
Thanks,

Thanks for the answer. However, I'm wondering about the license. I just brought over my fetch 3.3 preferences from my other computer. Doesn't Fetchsoftworks have records on who purchases licenses? Can't I have them look up my license and use that instead of having to pay all over again?

If you purchased a Fetch license after January 2001 I can look it up. If you purchased your license before then it wasn't from Fetch Softworks, and I can't look it up.
Thanks,

Yes. Could you please look it up? I can give you my information in an email. Please let me know either what your email is, so that I can send my information, or if you'd like my email first? Thank you.

I just moved to macOSX and saw that there was already a Fetch application installed. So, I didn't move my Fetch vs. 3.3 over when I transfered files. However, I have not been able to open the application. I keep getting an error that says, "The aplication could not be launched due to a shared library failure <fatcarbon 1.3>" Does anyone know what that means and how I might fix it? Also am I going to have to pay for the application now even though I already had it for years?
