That's called post-processing. You can control what kinds of files get opened, and by what applications, by choosing Post-processing... from the Customize menu.
Thanks,

Has anyone heard of this? - When I retrieve a file, my Mac attempts to launch the software associated with the file... If I retrieve a .wav file, real player launches; if I retrieve a .swf file, flash player launches, etc. This makes for a long session when trying to doanload multiple files! Does not try to launch a web browser for html files or photoshop for image files, but seems to for all other types. I'm on 0S 9.2 and a Fetch trial version I downloaded a few days ago.
Thanks for any help.
