BBedit not opening file... (2 posts)

    Unlike the previous posting about an error of not being able to find BBedit...instead when I want to edit a text file the text doesn't appear at all in the new document just after I press "command-J"...interarchy works like a charm...but I have a problem with it when I am on a PC LAN enviroment...so fetch is the only onle that actually works outside the PC LAN enviroment network.

    So you select a file and type Cmd-J, and BBEdit puts up an empty window?

    A couple things to try or check:

    * If you choose "View Text File" instead, are the file contents displayed correctly?

    * In BBEdit, does the window have the right name, and does it display the file's URL in the header part of the window?
