I'd like to be able to download PHP files from a server and NOT have them automatically use the BBEdit file type. Is there any way to do this?

    Yes. Here's how:

    1) Choose "Suffix Mapping..." from the Customize menu.
    2) Scroll down to the .php entry, and click it to select it.
    3) Click the Change button
    4) In the Suffix Mapping Editor window that appears, click the "Choose Example..." button and pick out a PHP file that has the icon you want all your PHP files to have; when you do the Creator field will be filled out appropriately.
    5) Click OK to close the Suffix Mapping Editor window, and click OK to close the Suffix Mappings window.

    Does this solve the problem?

    Thanks,
