Hi,
Could you contact us at http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback and send a transcript of your failed connection attempt? It would also help to see a transcript from Filezilla.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

well, problem is resolved. I just installed Yosemite beta and launched Fetch to grab the transcript or log if I could find it.
I tried the connection and it worked.
Thanks for the quick response.

Thanks for following up, and for giving Fetch a try on Yosemite!

If you have any closed beta's for a version you're getting ready for Yosemite, I'd be happy to help out.

Thanks for the offer! We'll make an announcement when we next need beta testers.

I got an account with a seedbox that provides an FTP interface. When I set it up, I followed their instructions and everything worked fine. However, last week, I could not connect and receive a "server dropped the connection" error.
I contacted their support and they told me that they had no problems connecting to the resource and suggested I try Filezilla. I tried that, and connected no problem.
I prefer Fetch over any other FTP client on mac. I was able to connect to your ftp site, as well as another one that I use for my website both with Fetch.
I really don't know what else to try. Their support suggested I contact you.
