I've downloaded the new Fetch and while trying to connect to my ISP I get the following:

Cannot connect to 216.222.78.183:2128. The last 7 numbers change from time to time.

Support from the ISP tells me that Fetch is trying to connect to port 2128 when it should be port 21 BUT they cannot help me to correct the situation.

I am cyber-stupid. Any help will be appreciated.

Can you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open the window.

    Thanks,

What do you mean by post? And post it where? I can open the Transcript window.

Due to some fortuitous happenstance, I now can put files at the site BUT when I go to the site to see it, all is blank. Nothing can be seen. What now?

By "post" I meant "include in your reply to this forum". Could you post the transcript of an upload, along with the URL (the address) of the web page that is not showing up correctly?

    Thanks,

I was just able to connect to: ftp.rica.net but as soon as I tried to upload a file, it was refused.

    The url is: www.home.rica.net/dtrinis or
    www.sherandoroses.com

    Below is the Fetch Transcript.

    Thanks for your help.

I would recommend checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. Does that help?

    Thanks,

You're a genius and a great help. Got all the text running but have not yet figured how to get the background images to show. I've uploaded them to the site but no o.

I'm glad that helped. As for the background, make sure that you've uploaded the background image file, and that the HTML tag is looking for the image in the same folder where you've uploaded it.

    Thanks,
