Hi,
To fix this problem, when you use the Put command, change the setting of the "If a file already exists:" menu to "Replace existing file". Do not use "Pick a different name".
When this menu is set to "Pick a different name", Fetch sends the "STOU" command to the server (asking the server to give your file a unique name to make sure it does not replace an existing file). Some servers do not support the "STOU" command, and give these errors as a result.
Let us know if this does not fix the problem.

I am trying to upload a file as I usually do and everytime it says
"Cannot STOU. Access violation at address 00492E54 in module 'ftpserv.exe'. Read of address 00000000"
