Cannot upload successfully (5 posts)

    Platform: Mac OS X (Jaguar)
    Security: Kerberos 4.5.1
    Fetch: 4.0.3 using GSS encryption at login

    using Fetch to upload new and edited webpages to website via Remote Mirror option, and get the following error message: Server response: Couldn't read PROT buffer length: 0/premature EOF

    Please help!

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error? Also, it would be useful to know if the error happens every time.

    I use Secure Fetch to upload edited webpages to our website, so the files could be large or small, depending on the content (text, images, etc.). Here are the steps I perform for the upload:
    1) access public_html folder on account,
    2) Remote menu, mirror folder option,
    3) select local folder,
    4) select OK for the transfer of all edited files

    I'm able to do this process successfully on an older Mac running OS 9.x with Secure Fetch 4.01. Somebody mentioned there may be a problem with uploading dreamweaver formatted html documents....do you know anything about this?
