What FTP sites are you having trouble reaching?

Make sure not to enter the "ftp://" part in the Host field of Fetch's New Connection window. The "ftp://" part is to tell a web browser that you want an FTP connection (Fetch already knows that, since FTP is all Fetch does).

Dear Administrator. I am new to the Mac World and am trying to connect to FTP sites via FETCH. Our version of fetch is 4.0.2. Heres the skinny I have 3 FTP sites to connect to using 2 macs. I am trying to connect via FETCH and Internet explorer. 2 of them i cannot connect to at all. The last site i can connect to on 1 mac, via Internet Explorer only, the other i cannnot . The site i connect to on successful mac i was able to do consistently. The error message i get on other MAC reads CANNOT FIND SPECIFIED SERVER. Also i am able to connect to general sites like ftp.apple.com and so forth successfully. On the pc side i am able to connect to all FTP sites. Any ideas on whats going on?
