    Hello,

I am unable to see my web site online. I created several pages in Netscape. I "fetched" these into a folder called hotdocs and they are still not showing up. I don't know which piece I am missing. Thank you!

    Hi,

Perhaps you meant you put the files in a folder named "httpdocs"? A folder named "hotdocs" almost certainly wouldn't be the right place to put them.

If you are not sure which folder you should be putting files in, you should double-check with your hosting provider or server maintainer to see what the appropriate folder is.

Also, most servers expect that the home page (main page) of your website is named index.html - is that the case for your site?

    Thanks,
