Can't delete items (5 posts)

    I am trying to delete three folders from my directory and am unable to do so. I receive a "server response: permission denied" message after each attempt. All permissions are set to allow me access. Opening up the folder and attempting the process of folders inside yields the same results. Opening up that folder to individual files ... same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Can you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error message? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open it.

    The problem is that for some reason the "firstgroup" and "testing" directories are owned by the "nobody" user account. You should ask Pair to remove them, since your account does not have the necessary permissions.

    I had Pair delete items before ... and that solves the problem until, of course, that another cgi installation process adds other "nobody" owned account files/folders.
